A warmer than usual December almost melted any hope for this magical iced playground to open this year. But, of course, Mother Nature obliged and sent some artic chills our way and boom, ice castles for everyone!

Here’s what you need to know about this magical winter wonderland exhibit. It’s an acre filled with frozen ice walls, tunnels, towers and archways lit up in multi-colored lights that create a wonder to be seen and experienced. Ice Castles is located North of Boston in Lincoln, New Hampshire – about a 2 hour drive – so be sure to plan on making a day of it. It’s open every days but Tuesdays, January 22nd through March 5th, 2016 and ticket prices range from $9.95 to $20 depending on your age, when you go, and where you purchase your tickets.
