One of my favorite seasons is Fall because of all the trendy lip colors that are in style. I normally don’t wear lipsticks because I don’t feel the need to wear it during school. But when I’m out on the weekends, these are the colors that I go to!
NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Cruella ($26.): I got this for my birthday because I am a Sephora Beauty Insider. Matte finishes are completely in this fall and one of my favorite finishes of all time! I love this shade of red because it is not too warm tone but not too cool tone. It is the perfect scarlet red shade. This lip product lasted almost 6 hours on me including drinking coffee (disrupting the product). I would highly recommend this product! (top left)
NARS Satin Lip Pencil in Rikugien ($26.): I also got this for my birthday. It is described as a “rose pink.” It’s a softened, muted rose with a hint of red and a little bit of a frosted finish. It has warmer undertones and, when applied, it looks less pink on the lips. (top left)
MAC Lipstick in Blankety ($17.): This is my go to nude lip color! Unlike some nude lip colors, this color doesn’t wash me out and it still gives a great nude lip because it’s very pigmented. This product leaves a great shine while staying matte but not powdery looking. It also has great staying power. (top right)
Maybelline Matte Color Sensational Lipstick in 682 Blushing Pout ($5.59+): This is a muted, light-medium pink with hints of a cooler, mauve tone to it, but it had more of a neutral-to-cool undertone paired with a satin finish. It has a fairly pigmented tone that applies evenly overall, but can be different depending on your natural lip color. It was lightweight, comfortable to wear, and lasted for five hours on me. These lipsticks are my absolute favorite at the drugstores and you can find it at Target for the cheapest price! But can go up to $7 at other stores. (top-bottom)
Buxom Lip Tarnish in Scandal ($17.99): I love this color because it’s not too dark. It is kind of dark berry color but not overpowering. It also has built in sharpener on the cap which is very helpful! (middle bottom)
Buxom Lip Polish in Clair ($19.): I love wearing this lip gloss on top of the lip color Scandal. They compliment each other so well and adds the perfect shine. It has a minty feeling and has a tingly plumping effect. It creates the look of fuller, more voluptuous lips with a refreshing tingling sensation and gentle plumping effect. This color is a starry plum haze as described on the Sephora website. You can see in the picture with the lipstick and without swatch! (On top of the lipstick it will be on the middle bottom the right side on the lipstick and by itself it will be on the bottom)
